MHd selected as a CE Pro Best Awards Finalist 2009 for Custom Graphical User Interfaces for Multi-room Touchscreens.

Sedona, AZ, United States, 08/26/2009 – MHd has been named a Finalist in CE Pro’s Best Awards 2009 in the category of Graphical User Interfaces for Multi-room Touchscreens.  The CE Pro Best Awards will recognize the most noteworthy new products and technologies of 2009.

MHd works to create artistic graphical user interfaces for automation systems which compliment modern home interiors and décor. These designer GUI libraries and predesigned scenes provide an elegant and sophisticated alternative to the mainstream look and feel of traditional user interfaces in the industry today.  Each design is created to be eye catching, intuitive and fun to use.  These artistic packages maintain a consistent comprehensive style with specific goals of meeting the aesthetic and functional needs of design conscious professionals, integrators and homeowners.

Current designs have been created and pre-coded for use with Cinemar Software’s suite of home automation solutions including DVDLobby, MusicLobby, WeatherLobby, MLEnergy Management and more.  Custom designs will work with any user definable interface and a variety of different size touchscreens.  Adjustments can be made to fit almost any aspect ratio.  Pre-defined scenes may be altered to accommodate the personal and functional needs of the client.  They are fully customizable.

As anyone in the industry knows purchasing a predesigned package saves a wealth of time for integrators as well as offers a unique option for potential clients who may not be accepting of the traditional look of automation systems and touchscreens into their home environment.  Additional interface options may also expand and stimulate business for integrators.

The winners of CE Pro’s Best Awards will be announced on September 10, 2009 at CEDIA in Atlanta, GA as well as online at cepro.com.

MHd is based in Sedona, Arizona.  Current graphical interface design packages are available through Cinemar, Inc. based in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

NewswireToday - /newswire/ - Sedona, AZ, United States, 03/19/2008 - MHd launches new designer graphical interface for home automation installations. In collaboration with Cinemar Solutions, Inc., MHd has created and recently released an artful alternative to the mainstream look and feel of home automation packages.

The Art of Home Automation – Margaret Holden Designs Creates Designer Home Automation Graphical Interfaces

Responding to the need of interior designers as well as people who view technology as an obstacle to good design, Interior Designer and former network and technical consultant, Margaret Holden is working to bridge the gap between the two industries. Two common perceptions today are that home automation technology is unappealing to aesthetically conscious designers and homeowners as well as that it is reserved for the wealthy or the high tech do it yourself type. Cinemar and MHd are focused on meeting the needs of all those looking to create unique spaces with efficient functionality and at reasonable costs.

The new touch screen graphical Designer Series is a solution that works for everyone including the average consumer looking to create their ultimate dream home. These interfaces were created to add an element of artistry to a home as well as blend with various interiors and architectural styles. It is our goal to make the addition of home automation into the home a visually pleasing and fun experience for everyone.

These graphical packages include pre-designed “scenes” which function for up-to-date weather information, home theater DVD collections, music collections, lighting, irrigation and more. They were designed exclusively for Cinemar Solutions software.

Margaret Holden Designs is based in Sedona, Arizona. She works to create modern and technologically advanced interiors. Her Interior Graphic Design packages are available for purchase through Cinemar Solutions, Inc., based in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
